Moon Over Buffalo was a great production, and judging from the attendance, a great success. We enjoyed bringing it to you.
This show was set in 1953 and considerable time and effort went into costume and prop design to keep that authentic flavor. Hair, makeup, and costumes were searched and researched ad nauseum. Sound design, music played before, after and during the show’s intermission were, although digitized, from ‘53 or earlier.
I think the term for this is
‘meticulously selected and reviewed‘.
We appreciate all of you who came out to see the show and hope you had as much fun as we did.
The Cast and Crew:
Moon Over Buffalo
With this production we are very happy to have two new talents added to our roster of very capable actors, Brian Miller (Howard) and Yvonne Glogowski (Elaine) joined the gang and we’re pleased and proud to have them! They really put it out there and made the show work.
We welcomed back Jim Tefelski, Tonya Starr, Trevor Whitsitt, Audra Jenkins, Judy Rice, Genay Snyder, Jason Henderson, and Mark Sherman to ‘the boards’. Their enthusiasm and dedication made it work.
Working behind the scenes, Anthony Mercer brought light (and sound) to bear. Kelly Lapping and his brother Paul lent us their experience in designing the lights and Monica Delgado kept everything ’seamless’ and well coiffed. Dan Snyder made a lot of the heavy lifting his problem and, chances are, you sat in a seat that he provided. Of course, Nancy Boyce (aka ‘Yes Ma’am, right away!’) used both of her good eyes to point the actors in the right direction.
Russell McMurray and Jim ‘six of the finest people I know‘ Stukey lent their considerable talent and time to bringing the set to life.
A very special thanks goes out to Arnold and Linda Graham, and Jane Reeble for the use of their space to perform in, and Fred and Lillian Spellman for the use of their space, in between performances.
You guys are, without a doubt, the BEST.
