Opening Night!

Thank you to all of you for a fabulous opening night!

If you hadn’t heard, Community Theatre of Emporia is presenting our production of  Robert Harling’s “Steel Magnolias” directed by Nancy Boyce at CTE’s Little Theatre out at 2705 W Highway 50, May 6th through the 8th and 20th through 22nd with matinee performances on the 9th and 23rd.

This is great story, and a terrific group of  local talent that includes, Gayle Whitsitt, Jan Borst, Myrna Stephens, Tonya Starr, Stacey Hoover, and Jim Stukey.  Along with Ms. Boyce’s spot-on direction, they’ve worked hard to bring you a production that they’re proud of and it shows.

The show will run for 7 more shows through the 23rd. Come on out and support live theatre in our community. Tickets are available for the bargain price of $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors & just $5.00 for students (with the additional $1 off for CTE members it’s a real steal).
