Thanks For All The Help!

Supporting MembersOn January 12th we received a call informing us that the space that we had been using next to Price Chopper on West highway 50 had flooded. We did not know it at the time, but it seems we had experienced a ‘Perfect Storm’ of circumstances.

A heating unit had stopped working at a time when outside temperatures had dropped well below freezing leading to a water pipe  that had been capped off  located next to the outside wall of the building inside an interior partition freezing and bursting.

The pipe had been used by a former tenant and when they moved out  a decade or more ago, the pipe had been capped off and covered over with drywall. No one even knew it was there.

In the words of Gomer Pyle – ‘Surprise, surprise, surprise!’

Thanks to everyone who helped with the cleanup from the flooding. It was an unfortunate mishap, and the quick and enthusiastic response was really appreciated.
